The annual conferences focused on tea technology innovation, tea culture inheritance, and high-quality development of the tea industry, and aimed to establish an exchange and cooperation service platform to promote the transformation of tea technology achievements and explore new industrial models and driving forces.
Xiangxi Prefecture has over 900,000 mu (about 60,000 hectares) of tea, ranking first in Hunan. Last year, it achieved a tea production of 19,800 tons, with a comprehensive output value of 9.823 billion yuan, which helped more than 600,000 tea farmers to increase their income.
